Can I create an Income and Loss report for a Building from MyProp?

Answer: Yes can create an Income and Loss statement for one building, all buildings or all of one owners buildings from MyProp. You can also create what we call a Owners Cash Position Report showing an the beginning balance for a period followed by the net income for each building and any liabilities such as Sales Tax, Owners draws etc. 

How does MyProp handle Multiple Checking Accounts and Trust accounts?

Answer: MyProp can handle multiple bank accounts or a Trust account used for multiple owners. The bank account you want your income and expenses posted to is set up on the Owner maintenance screen. When rent is received it gets posted directly to that bank account that you specified. 

With Trust Accounting, you set up one main bank account and a sub bank account for each owner under that main bank amount. All monies received needs to be posted to the owners sub bank account. MyProp does this automatically when it post rent receipts. When you write checks in QuickBooks you need to specify the sub bank account. 

Note: Creating bills and then writing checks from them will not post correctly in MyProp, you need to write checks directly.
